Ottawa

Ottawa, in the north-east, is the seat of the Dominion Government. The municipal system is highly organised. Ontario is administered by a Lieutenant-Governor, assisted by an executive council of five, and a Legislative Assembly elected every four years. The province is represented in the Dominion Parliament by 24 members of the Senate and 92 in the House of Commons.
