Leucocythsmia

Leucocythsmia, a disease in which the leucocytes, or white corpuscles of the blood, are largely increased in number; there is often associated enlargement of the spleen and of the lymphatic glands. The disease usually proves fatal, and little is known concerning its causation and treatment.
