Gray John Edward

Gray, John Edward (1800-1875), a naturalist, born at Walsall, was keeper of the zoological collections in the British Museum from 1840 to 1874. He drew up catalogues of these collections, with valuable.annotations, and published Illustrations of Indian Zoology (1830-35), and other works.
