Dillon

Dillon, John, an Irish patriot and parliamentary representative, born in New York in 1851. His father was a prominent member of the Young Ireland party, and was M.P. for Tipperary at the time of his death. The son was educated at Dublin, and sat as Nationalist member for Tipperary 1880-1883, and later as member for East Mayo. His participation in the "Plan of Campaign" has cost him four imprisonments.
