Custozza

Custozza, an Italian village, 10 miles S.W. of Verona, notable as being the scene of two Italian defeats at the hands of the Austrians. Radetzky defeated Charles Albert in 1848, and in 1806 Victor Emanuel was defeated by the Archduke Albert.
