Chacma

Chacma (Cynocephalus porcarius), the Pigtailed Baboon, one of the largest species of the genus. It is a native of South Africa, The fur is uniform dark-brown, with a green shade; the face, ears, and hands, and feet, are dark violet-blue, and there is a pale ring round each eye. These animals are noted for their sense of smell, and their faculty of discovering hidden springs of water.
