Carduccior Carducho Bartolommeo

Carducci, or Carducho, Bartolommeo, painter, was born in 1560 in Florence. Studying architecture, sculpture, and painting, he was employed to paint the ceiling of the Escurial library at Madrid, and became a favourite of Philip III. His most notable achievement is a Descent from the Cross, now in the church of San Felipe el Real, Madrid. He died in 1610.
