Barrowriver

Barrow (river), a river in Ireland, which, rising in the Slievebloom Mountains, flows for 100 miles through Queen's Co., King's Co., Kildare and Carlow, and joining the Suir discharges itself into Waterford harbour. Its tributaries are the Nore, Blackwood, and Green rivers. It is navigable for 65 miles to Athy, where it is connected with Dublin by the Grand Canal.
